Saddleworth Runners AGM - November 27th 2018, 8:45pm at Saddleworth Cricket Club.

The meeting will follow a short Tuesday night training run (Stake in the Ground) and the Cricket Club will be putting on pie & peas for all attendees.

The agenda for the meeting will be circulated on the night, if however you want anything adding, please contact Jon Comyn-platt in advance of the meeting.

Club Charity:

This year we will present nominations for the club charity at the meeting and then there will be an online poll (anonymous) in the days following the meeting so that the membership can decide between the options. If you would like a particular charity to be considered, please either bring a brief summary (a minute or two) of their work to present yourself or alternatively the Chairman can read it out on your behalf.  

Committee Elections:

The club are always keen to encourage new people to come on to the committee and contribute to the ongoing running and success of the club. There will be a couple of committee members standing down at the AGM and therefore a couple places opening up, if you would like to join the committee please speak to either Jon Comyn-platt or Stuart Hutchison in advance of the meeting.

London Marathon:

The club has been allocated one entry for the 2019 London Marathon, as per recent years it has been agreed that the place will first be offered to those who applied for the ballot but did not get in and names will be drawn out of a hat at the AGM. If you wish to be considered for this place please let Jon Comyn-platt or Richard Gee know prior to the AGM.
